Our story

The Baileys’ retirement home

As Jason and Liz tell it, Moon Hill is where George and Mary Bailey of “It’s a Wonderful Life” retired after a long, happy career — a quaint, quiet cabin in the country, filled with treasures collected from traveling the world.

The 1920s Sears, Roebuck and Company kit house was completely remodeled in 2025, adding all the modern conveniences while keeping every bit of that old charm. It sits on a quiet dead-end country road just outside Van.
